Reviews The show was great minus the middle school kids who still had braces and didn't know any of the songs that weren't off the new cd, they had no idea what was going on. OAR was great and they were definetally into it even though some idiots were throwing shit on stage and being jackasses. Loved short a try in the encore, also city on down and mr moon were amazing! -cpp2 March 30, 2006
My second OAR and they just keep on getting better and better. The venue was a small gym and was packed, but the energy was crazy during awesome versions of Hey Girl, City on Down, and Mr. Moon. Even though I was singing the words to every song I felt that there were kids in the crowd who were clueless to OAR and the songs themselves, but there's a first time for everyone. My friends and I were the first to the show and got front row spots on the barrier and I was about 15 feet or so from Marc. There were some morons (as always) crowd surfing and they were carried above a poor girl up front with a neck brace. Marc handled it well though and brought her and her friends to the side. Great show, great energy, good to have OAR come so close to me!! -toddburns87 March 30, 2006
This was my first show but it was tremendous! The band was pretty full of energy and really rocked the crowd. City on down and Poker were both great, and their new stuff, especially Lay Down and Love and Memories were done great! I got there early and got up front (I was actually there with the girl with the neckbrace). There were a bunch of drunk high schoolers who did not know anything about OAR and were all rowdy. They crowd surfed up towards us and we had our friend with the neckbrace to watch out for. They were asked to leave, and Marc called my friend with the neckbrace over to the side which was really cool. Plus, after the show, we waited in the parking lot and met the guys. Amazing show with awesome energy and it will be a night I won't soon forget. -miklemartin23 March 30, 2006
this was a great show. the beginning first 5 songs were packed with energy. I feel the same way as everyone else who has wrote reviews thus far all of the kids there who only know love and memories have got to relax and appreciate OAR for the band that they are. I thought the highlight of the show was when mark introuduced jerry and let him really jam out. overall awesome show minus the immature fans. cant wait to see the guys again this summer -mcculla March 30, 2006
Great show. Met Marc outside with my boy and he we spoke for a while about the tour, MSG and I asked about the setlist and he goes have any suggestions and of course I said... "Right On Time". 52-50 IMO is now their top opener. ROT, So Moved On, Short A Try, King Of The Thing, Mr. Moon, City On Down, Dareh Meyod I mean it was just awesome. I will never forget this whole night with one of my best friends. -tindawg31 March 30, 2006
Great set- Band was awesome, crowd sucked though. Don't buy a ticket to an OAR concert if you only wanna hear Poker or Love and Memories. Not many people knew the words to most of the songs not on "Stories of a Stranger" which is sad considering their old stuff is so good. "So Moved On" "Mr. Moon" and "King of the Thing" were not appreciated as well as they should have been by the crowd. Feel bad for the band for not getting the loyal fans that they deserve. -JerryFan March 31, 2006
Mr. Moon, So Moved On, KOTT, and Short A Try. Need I say more? Awesome show, crowd could have been a little more into it but whatever. I liked the venue, reminded me of my highschool gym

Overall a great show! First "for real" show of theirs I've seen (I saw them @ Newbury Comics in Peabody a few summers ago) I thought it was an awesome mix of new & old songs.. SO EXCITED FOR KING OF THE THING - def didn't think I'd get to hear that one.. wished that the crowd was a little more into it (& umm a little older?!? I'm only a few years older then the college kids - wasn't expecting the HS crowd.).. The show definitly made me appreciate the songs on the new album after hearing them live.. -manda914 April 4, 2006
I know that this review is very late, but I only recently found this site. I was at this show and I have to say that I was blown away. Wonderful Day, So Moved On, and King of the Thing were nuts. Lay Down is always a hit. The poker Jam was incredible. I was truly impressed when marc took the stage to play Short a Try. That song has a deep meaning to me and some of my friends. It was great of him to play it for us. Overall, the show was great. The crowd could have been better, but who cares. The band was great and thats all I can ask for. -Jikkis July 2, 2006
This was my first OAR show and man what can I say?
By far one of the best concerts I have ever been to.
It was great to hear all the new songs as well as some great old ones like dareh, king, and so moved on live that I didn't expect to see at my first show. Also, the Intro to Poker was awesome!
The main reason I am writing this review so late is that I recently used the recording above to download the show. It is awesome to be able to relive the show and I recommend it to anyone who was at the show. It's a little complicated to get the files into a correct format to be able to play it, so if anyone wants any help send me an email and I'll be glad to help.
Can't wait to go to my second show two weeks from today at the Tweeter. Peace -yankhater24 July 14, 2006
