Reviews That was by far the BEST concert I have ever seen O.A.R. play! Opening with Poker was completely unexpected, but after that it was apparent that it was going to be a MONSTER set list, and it sure as hell was. The guys were really into it and you could tell they wanted to put on a special show for VT. They rocked out all night, at times it was so incredibly loud in Burruss it was unbelievable. Marc even mentioned it was the best concert they had done so far this year. It was awesome to hear Delicate Few, but I was disappointed that only 1/4 of the people at the show (if that) knew the opening...it seemed like there were 50 of us singing it. The entire night was a highlight, but hearing About an Hour Ago was awesome. I have wanted to hear it live for a long time and luckily they played it as a request.

Oh, and SK6ers were awesome. They were by far the best opening band I have ever seen play for O.A.R. They really got the crowd pumped.

This show had to have been recorded! I couldn't imagine it not being a taped show. This was my 6th show and BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!

THANKS FOR AN AMAZING NIGHT GUYS!

This show was absolutely incredible. If you weren't there you missed a hell of a show. The set was so solid. First time they ever opened with Poker for this big of a show. (Other times Poker was an opening was Marc solo and for an Exposed Youth show). Seeing everybody and how much the band played with was just inspiring...especially because of what went down at Tech. I've seen 10 shows including MSG 07 and this one was easily right up there with MSG in the top 3. Amazing...I talked to Marc after the show the previous night in Norfolk and told him to play King of the Thing for me and he did so that added something special to the show to. Marc is so genuinely nice to just for the record...I've gotten to know him chillin after a bunch of shows the past year and he is one of the coolest guys. Even knows me by name so it's pretty cool when you know the lead singer of your fav band. Had a real good convo about Iraq/The USO Tour with him Monday night and what he described was to put in one word...Inspiring. The whole band is so awesome and I can't wait for SUMMER TOUR 08!!!!!

And the Sixers were awesome too...

WOW! all i can say.. my fifth show and it was by far the best i have seen. The setlist was absolutely incredible. Every song they played has been a favorite of mine at one time or another(besides what is mine). The crowd was insane. You could tell the guys were happy to be there. -drewworkan22 February 6, 2008
By far one of the best concerts ever! And I really liked how the majority were pre- Any Time Now songs. To me those are the ones that you can truely enjoy where they just jam and do their thing. And that new song, What Is Mine, sounds like it is really getting back to that. Can't wait for this new album. This concert was a really special one. I enjoyed when we all did the Let's Go Hokies football chant.. and Marc simply replied "that was cool!" Awesome, awesome set list. Very unexpected opening with Poker. And that just set the tone for the rest of the concert. Let's see if they can't top that over the summer! -ryebread February 6, 2008
Very good show, not quite as good as raleigh last year but check that setlist it's hard to beat. Poker was a shock first. Still the same old 1st timer kids who were there to socialize, but overall fans were great!!! Skellogg and the sixers were great have been great for along time, its a shame that most people were not even in their seats or were talking the whole time while they were playing, a great band! Best thing was I got to meet marc and richard out at the bus before the show, they were so humble and so nice, down to earth/ lovem. -uncheels1980 February 6, 2008
This is my third O.A.R. show and it was my least favorite. I've seen them the two other times in Portsmouth where the venue is open and has the standing area in the front, which really makes a difference (we were in the back of the auditorium.) I was also disappointed that they didn't play About Mr. Brown. Opening with The Game was definitely a surprise though. I look forward to seeing them again this summer -FrattyLight February 13, 2008
