Reviews Personally I thought it was a great show. It was my first O.A.R. concert and I was impressed. Parker House and Theory were great as well. I like the mix of some of their older material with a few new ones to get all of the crowd into it. The 3 song encore kicked off with Whose Chariot? was a great ending, especially when they ran right into Night Shift right after. Great show, hope they come back. -robschuhmann April 24, 2008

Anyway Sax and harmonica battle was intense, best part of the night... however lots of drunk college kids that talked loudly through the whole night.... although after the encore i did get the oppurtunity to meet both bands!!! i must say the fact that they actually cared enough to speak to me and take interest in what i was saying shows how genuine these guys are!!! thank you O.A.R. -colbmister April 24, 2008
This was my second OAR show and they, of course, were amazing. I was stoked that they closed with About Mr Brown, one of my favorites that didn't get played when I saw them in Columbus. I was shocked they didn't play Hey Girl, but I guess I should consider myself lucky for attending a rare show. Colbmister is right, the sax-harmonica battle was killer. I do have to say, as a Lexington resident, I was saddened that the crowd was nowhere near as interested or fun as the crowd when I saw them in Columbus. I guess it's probably nuts to expect a show to compare to that, though. It seemed to be that there were few that knew the band's older material, but who knows...maybe they'll be inspired to get to know the band's music more now. This was my 3rd OAR show. I was a great show, but it was not better than the Louisville Palace show last summer. The setlist was a great mix and the sax/harmonica battle was amazing.
My first show was at Eastern Kentucky University, and like the last night's show, it was put on by the University Activities Board. Those type of shows are intimate and unique, but lack quality and detail. The UK show, however, was far better than the EKU show. OAR jammed more and had a better setlist, plus the venue and setup was much better at Memorial than at EKU's gym.

The band was absolutely on fire and this was the "jammiest" that I've ever seen them. I managed to get there early enough to end up in the front row, right in front of Richard! I was shocked and impressed with how much of the "older" stuff they played, especially to start the show; they couldn't have picked 3 better songs to start the show.
I doubt anyone taped the show which is a damn shame because Anyway was out of this world! -jason41 April 25, 2008
damn what a good show, opened with one of my favorites and ended with one of my favorites, with a lot more favorites in between, finally got to hear the wanderer, missing pieces, and whose chariot. road outside columbus was great, but anyway takes the cake, the sax and harmonica jam was the shit. great show guys can't wait to see many more like it this summer
