Reviews This was probably one of the better shows I've seen. Stephen Kellogg opening just started the night off right and the energy from both bands made the show amazing. They were having a good time, and so was everyone else. I can't wait till they come to Chicago with Robert Randolph. -City_On_Down April 5, 2009
4th O.A.R. show for me, and these guys just keep getting better. Anybody who says that their new music is "selling out" or isn't as good as their old stuff hasn't heard their new songs live. "On My Way," "What is Mine," and "War Song" were unbelievable. It was really cool to hear "Whose Chariot" and "Stir it Up." Didn't think there was a chance to hear either of those songs. Only "complaint" is that we had a first-timer with us, and he wanted "Love and Memories" which, despite being listed in this setlist, was not played. -keydawg_12 April 5, 2009
I agree, that this was one of the best. Awesome crowd, everyone was singing, they knew all the old stuff, new stuff. It was just great! We had true fans all around us and that setlist was just incredible. War Song has definitely grown on me and a great way to end the show. Loved SK6ER's, fun guys and great energy. Can't wait for this summer! -OAR14 April 5, 2009
Pretty sweet setlist. Marc also did Big Easy with the Sixers. On My Way and Stir It Up were the definate highlights for me. Marc noted that the decision to play Stir It Up was made in the spirit of spring break, while on the Mayercraft cruise. Jerry played pretty fast paced the whole night and added sax to a few parts that I haven't heard him play before. There was one melody he was laying down on a particular song, but I've forgotten now which. Dareh had the 34th intro, and Marc and Rich did some of the chanting and stuff similar to Deep Rock Drive. Hey Girl was a setlist addition.
The band had a great time and the crowd was great. Plenty of room to move and I didn't see any angry people. I saw 3 girls get kicked in the face by crowd surfing(which was very light). All 3, though, had resilient smiles on afterwards. The band played and the crowd sang until they had nothing left..Then they played another song. Great show. -0ARgasm April 5, 2009
Great show, Love and Memories should be Love is worth the fall. i think that is what marc said it was called. anyways the show was amazing Dareh Meyod with the 34th and 8th intro was awesome and closing with War Song was amazing. -Meszy5250 April 5, 2009
Really great crowd IMO, my fourth show and I've seen crowds get nuts with the shoving and surging to get front row but there was none of that. One setlist correction though, didn't they play Someone in the Road right into Whose Chariot?

Either way, probably the best show for me. -BKrupa April 5, 2009
Amazing show! Me and my friends drove up from chicago and st louis and were not dissapointed, then again we never are when we see these guys. Crowd was really good, the venue was amazing. It was really cool to hear older songs that don't usually get played like conquering fools and someone in the road. Love is worth the fall is a good new song. Someone in the road into whose chariot was a great surprise. The encore was fantastic, ending with war song was amazing... that sounds kicks ass live. Can't wait to see them in June when they come back to chicago and in st louis. -programstranger April 5, 2009
this concert was unbelievable. the set was sick minus the opener but it doesnt even matter cuz the rest of the show was sick. kellogg was awesome. the crowd was good. absolutely fucking loved Stir It Up with stephen kellogg. made my night complete. it was my second time seeing them there with SK6 opening and it was one of the best if not the best O.A.R. concerts ive been to. the band was having a great time. you could definetly tell when they were playing with kellogg and how they were so into the crowd. fuckin AWESOME concert. so pumped for the back to back chi town shows and when they come to my home town in madison!!!!! -kjkbaseball April 5, 2009
Two songs in when Marc said "It's going to be one of those nights..." I knew we were in a for a great night. Excellent and diverse setlist, haven't heard a few of those songs live in the 7 prior shows I have been to. Stephen Kellog and his guys really got the show going - the crowd was REALLY into it and the vibe was great all around. The encore made it seem as if the show would never end. Stir It Up was fun and seemed like both the bands were having a great time. Cards being thrown during poker (myself included) was a good time as usual, I even found a nude guy on a 10 of spades...(Interesting)...Jerry had quite a few solos that were excellent. Stopping the show for the girl on the cell phone was funny, and the crazy chick that made it on stage was fun as usual (GREAT Security!!) -ChrisLilja April 5, 2009
Absolutely fantastic setlist, and easily the best opening band I've heard in the 4 shows i've been to. Only problem I had was that i couldn't hear Jerry's sax in the third row! :( -Plunk April 6, 2009
gotta love stephen kellogg starting things off great. good set, but a little disappointed that they skipped out on anything from stories. "stir it up" was insane and i loved "someone in the road" into "whose chariot?". crowd was really into it except for the big drunk douche in front of us that wanted to fight everybody. thank god for security. can't wait for them back-to-back in chi town !!! -bfreddy4 April 6, 2009
#27 for me, but in my top 10. Favorites were Dareh Meyod with 34 & 8th intro and King of The Thing. Also glad to hear, what is my favorite track, night shift into stir it up. I havent heard that since my second show in 2002. I love SK6ers and hearing the two bands together is always a great evening. -mbombs April 6, 2009
