Reviews Awesome, amazing time. Thanks oar! -JCannon November 4, 2009
I have now been to 19 O.A.R. shows and hands down this was the lamest crowd I have ever been a part of. The band felt it to you could just tell they didn't want to play to his crowd. It was like people only knew songs from All Sides and Stories of a Stranger. It was disgusting. The band played great but god the Toledo Crowd was awful! Fights on the floor people having conversations everywhere as the band played. I can't tell you how many times I heard..."What song is this?!" crowd woke up for Shattered, Hey Girl, and Poker. At one point Marc asked are you guys having fun tonight after about 12 people responded he said ok I guess not. Awful Crowd Great Band What a SHAME! -Shadowgoinby November 4, 2009
Looking at the past few concerts I think O.A.R. should play War Song more. -This Town November 4, 2009
First off, as many people have said in other show posts, Elmwood was great. Their jam session at the end of their set was just phenomenal. Random crowd distractions--fights, tons of crowd surfing, and passing out. Once Marc addressed the fights and told people to leave if they didn't come to have fun, it got a lot better. I must say that in the five shows I've seen this year alone, MikelParis is just a great addition. I attribute a lot of the fun that the band has seemed to have in 2009 to him. I was pumped when he came to our group after his sweet triangle solo to give my group his drumstick. I randomly caught his drumstick the night before in Grand Rapids so my buddy's fiance got this one! Overall, great show. I can't ever complain about their shows...whether the songs are new or old, I'll always sing along, dance with my girl, and enjoy their amazing musical talent. To me, that's what these shows are all about. -SailAway November 5, 2009
What a great setlist! I wish I was there to see this one. Hope you bring a setlist like this to HARTWICK! How about some City On Down! -hartwickds November 5, 2009
A great performance by the band as usual. I heard several songs I hadn't before: Destination, Dareh Meyod. I Feel Home is amazing every time. Unfortunately, like others said, the crowd was mediocre at best. Several people just sitting around talking. It may be because it was on a college campus. Many people come who aren't fans but have nothing better to do. The band was still great. I really liked Elmwood. -Trimalchio November 8, 2009
