Reviews Not a bad show. I was right at the gate since it was general admission so I was right next to Richard On near the stage and it was a great view. It was my best view and closest to the stage out of the 5 OAR concerts I've been to but probably the least favorite setlist and the fans were just ok. I mean it was a big venue at the Ryan Center and it's a college band, and I couldn't believe that it was less than half filled. The thing that did surprise me was some of the big songs they played off of the live album MSG a lot of the fans were singing when qued. They played a lot from MSG and not so much off their new stuff. I was expecting similar songs from their summer tour that they played off their new album like something coming over, what is mine, living in the end, or even one day. They were trying to expose 'love is worth a fall' over the summer so I thought they'd play that when they slowed the set down a bit but they didn't play that one either. Not that I'm complaining, that song is not good at all and doesn't portray real OAR music.
Also, I am VERY surprised they didn't play at least one out of the following four: love and memories, city on down, about mr. brown, or hey girl. I mean people were talking about those four the whole night. They even chanted 'memories' after the encore. I am a huge OAR fan, they are my favorite, and I hate to say this, but it's a review, so they're are good ones and bad ones, but I honestly felt, they did the bare minimum to get through 'another' concert. I understand they're tired and on the road a lot, but they should still play at 100% and like it's their last show. So that's the vibe I got, and I'm not happy to say it, but it's how I felt.
Good things though, Marc's voice was unbelievable live as always. Congrats to him and Nasim on their new baby boy, I hope everything is working out fine with the new adjustment and Marc always on the road. It's good they're going to have a nice month off in December before coming back in January.
Oh one more thing... LOL these two girls were hanging on the gate, so front pretty much touching the stage, and they didn't move their lips or danced at all for the first 12 songs. I was like, are you serious, get out of the front row if your band wagging it here. So i called it, they were there for one song and one song only... shattered, as it came in at number 13, they started to move and sing a little bit and still didn't know all the lyrics, my god, brutal... Well, i'm signing off, and I'm glad I could attend another OAR concert. I love them and love seeing them live. And remember... without YOU, this site wouldn't exist, so keep on rocking and attending the shows!

Show was great, band had amazing energy and put up an amazing set...i dont rmember city on down though....elmwood was solid too...great jam with jerry at then end. crowd was very pushy....girls trying to bring 20 people up front kinda sucks....but it was fun fighting them all off hahaha... amazing...hey and then met the band after and in case anyone doesnt know...they are so chill...went out of their way to shake hands and talk to all of us -batandball10 November 9, 2009
Great show, great set, horrible crowd. You read a lot on here about how fans can bring down a concert and this is another example. The middle of the set was a throwback to a lot of old songs and they rocked them. One of the best sets I have seen, just wish the crowd could have been better. -OfARevolution6691 November 9, 2009
This was easily one of the best shows I have ever been to. (been to about 6-8 shows) They had great energy, and played some of the best songs you could see live! This Town, Poker, War Song, night shift, and missing pieces where the best songs, but all of them were great! Five Stars! ***** Then only part that was dissapointing was that there was nobody there. They maybe had 3000 people which was a shame, overall it was fantastic. -This Town November 10, 2009
This was a great show with a killer setlist. O.A.R. always puts on an awesome show. They have the passion for their music and that comes through in their performance. Can't wait til they come back around. -taylork November 13, 2009
Decent set for sure, the run of Missing Pieces through Black Rock was tight and def brought a smile to my face, it was certainly nice to finally catch Dinner Last Night (it only took me 34 shows to finally get it ...) ... Crowd was awful, I cant be nice about it, my second time seeing O.A.R. at URI and the crowd was pathetic both times -firedwarftj November 19, 2009
