Reviews This was my 4th OAR show and the energy was definitely better than the past shows I've been to. Before the show me and my buddy saw Mike and Ben walking around the plaza taking pics of the harbor. My buddy introduced himself and they seemed pretty chill. Some people even asked if they were done using the table they were sitting at. I thought that was funny. Jack's Mannequin was a good opener. The lead guy on the piano seemed really into it. Jerry came out and played some crazy mini organ thing with a blow tube attached to it. That got a pretty good pop from the crowd. OAR came on a little early and played a 2 hour set. The crowd was loud, but it was younger than most crowds I've seen. During Anyway the entire crowd sang the first verse with marc just standing there. I thought that was pretty sweet. So aside from the few a$$ holes in the crowd, the little squabble that broke out, and the occasional crowd surfer (least I've seen yet) it was a hell of a show. Can't wait to see em again... -ShibbyLoco August 1, 2006
great show as usual with tons of energy BUT 2 things only bc there is lack of constructive criticism on this site:

1. Jerry was SO off and for the first time failed to impress me. delay and lack of the usual WOW factor on several occasions ... specifically his Wonderful Day solo. he played as though he had too many hits from the bong before the show... should we be worried?!
2. even though they feel the need to be "more professional", do we all agree that IF they attempt a song that has not been played in a long time and its not PERFECT, the crowd will still be super supportive and excited to just be hearing old/rare shit???? my comment to the band: chill out guys, your real fans love you to death and are used to you trying new songs in front of us! no matter what you do on stage, as long as you are trying and excited to be in our city, we're totally supportive!

OK those are negatives, but overall the show was amazing -Niccy11 August 1, 2006
This was my first OAR show... i recently converted to a fan. first of all, i was in the very front row up against the railing amd the energy was amazing from where i was. i liked a majority of the songs they played, but was a little disappointed that of all the newer songs, they didnt play 52-50, as well as my personal favorites dareh meyod and here's to you. i thought the outro to crazy game of poker was awesome, as well as the jam session in the midst of anyway. if anyone has a recording of this show, please let me know. Thanks

ps....triangle solos should be a necessity for any live show -niggamaseets August 28, 2006
