Reviews Two important and interesting notes about this show:
1) BIGGEST CROWD EVER TO SEE O.A.R. INDOORS: 7200 sold out!!!!!!!

2) The setlist begins with the Wanderer played backwards... very cool.

SBS has become a Boston staple. Marc even mentioned it on stage... and I have NO complaints. I love this cover! -themountin April 7, 2005
Show was great, the band never lets down. I was extremely disappointed in how the crowd acted. There were people puking in the seats, on themselves and ruining the atmosphere for those of us that were there to listen to the music. It was also unfortunate that those of us who were old enough to have a beer at the show were not allowed to because of the minors who showed up not even being able to walk, forced the venue to shut off the beer taps. I have never been embarrassed to say I am a fan, until I was labeled with idiots like that last night. I hope that the next time the band comes around, that the crowd is there for the right reasons. Not a night away from mommy and daddy just to be puking on yourself in a bathroom stall, you can do that at home. -cbren81 April 7, 2005
sick... just absolutlely amazing...
jaw dropping when you turn around and see 7200 people that got worse seats than you -1ofthedelicatefew April 7, 2005
Concert was absolutely sick one of the best ive seen and it was kinda redic how some people werent even ther for the music and it got me heated seeing some kids so drunk and it was nasty seeing them puke and the fighting shit is out of hand, but that didnt stop me from having an awsome time, i hope they come back in the summer. -lax12388 April 7, 2005
The show was amazing. Great opener, great close. Playing poker in the middle was sick. He really gave great intros and outros. The energy was awesome 2 straight hours of abosoulte sick music. Laydown was also awesome, they mixed a few different versions I previously heard together. The show was the tits! -tindawg31 April 7, 2005
Completely have to agree with cbren91. The band did a phenominal job and this was probably one of the best shows I've been to. While I'd liked to have heard a couple of songs off of IBN&T, I have no complaints at all. They were high energy all the way through and it made for a great show. If they can rock 7200 people like that, hopefully next year will find them moving towards even bigger arenas.

I tend to jokingly gripe about the audiences at the shows because at 27 years old, I am aware that I'm older than the average age at the shows. To say I found the behavior last night to be disgusting is an understatement. I, too, was embarassed by alot of what I saw. I can only hope for the future that the minors who are fans of the band can show a little dignity and give OAR the respect that they deserve.

Can't wait for the summer tour! -satyrwilder April 7, 2005
Great show, i agree with all of you that mentioned the kids throwing up everywhere, that wasn't cool. O thought Kellog was pretty good but i can't say the same bout Ari Hest. I was a big fan of Hey Jude at the end. I heard people (probably BU students) complaining about how they did end with their own song. Personally i thought it was better than ending the show with Poker becuase thats the only song some people know. I was happy with the crowd because the last concert of theirs i went to last summer in Boston that was the only song most people knew. Did anyone record the show?

I also saw the girl wipe out in her friends puke.... very entertaining. I was sitting less than 10 feet from the whole ordeal and seeing that was pretty funny.

They're coming back for 2 shows in july at the bank of america pavillion (formaly the fleet boston pavillion) i already have my tickets for both shows -zamboner386 April 7, 2005
Totally mind blowing show, best I've been to yet! high energy just perfect. except for, yes the crowd. Sad to say, a friend of mine was one to be taken to the hospital, and though i feel bad for her..what the hell is wrong with you its a concert, you dont do that crap. but aside from the immature, irrisponsable members of the sold out 7200 people, it was totally AMAZING I love when they play older songs, and Nasim Joon, been dieing to hear that played in concert, same with the long day intro to black rock, love them. cant wait till they're back again!! -King of the Thing April 7, 2005
good shit man i went other than all the pot and reckin liek it when i came home and getting near in trouble it was a blast my 1st o.a.r. concert and certainly not my last i will pay sum1 to get me the show on tape or sumthin -Tmac2790 April 7, 2005
this show was the sickest thing ive ever seen in two catagories, those fans were f#$^& bullshit little preppies who can hold there booze and people leaving early thats bullshit too

on the other hand im a die hard OAR man and the show was unreal the setlist amazing and the best part i knew by how marc was talking before a song what it was gonna be. man thank u OAR im glad took a bus from NY and skipped class to see u guys play in front of a record crowd

thank u cityondown15 -cityondown15 April 7, 2005
The show was amazing. I loved how he went into Poker right in the middle of the show. I also loved how he ended with Hey Jude, that was a nice surprise.

About the crowd. I go to BU and its embarassing that some of the people acted the way they did mostly because I think the people acting the way they did (drunk, throwing up, leaving early) were not BU students. I sat near some of these fools and they were definitely still in high school. I got shoved out of the way when they left there seat right in the middle of Poker!? (Way to ruin a great part of the concert). I hope the band comes around again cause the concert was 10 times better than I anticipated regardless of how some people acted.

Me and my friends, also BU students, had a blast and stayed for every minute of the show. Best concert BU has had since opening the new Arena.

On an additional note Kellog played small free show at BU Central that same afternoon. I didn't see it but thats definitely a nice thing to do. -davem7 April 7, 2005
I thought this show was amazing!!!! OAR definitly knows how to do it right....best live performance ive ever been to! as for the crowd i agree with everyone else...people need to come to these things for the right reasons...i dont mind the high school kids but when they start boozin and fightin and throwin up it takes away from the show...but i do have to say it was pretty funny to watch another drunk girl completely wipe out in her friends puke before the show even started....OAR rocks...hope to see them again soon...oooo and Hey Jude was an amazing encore! -fullback4025 April 7, 2005
Wonderful Show, I was glad to be a part of a monumental show in the careers of the band. I got to meet Marc before the show- He's a great guy, really down to earth. I LOVED HEY JUDE~ I am a HUGE Beatles fan so that was a treat. What else is there to say... Hest did good too. Can't wait to catch them again SOON! -elpis2911 April 10, 2005
Simply Amazing!! Easily one of the best nights of my life! Also thought it was cool how marc turned around and played "I Feel Home" to the seats of people behind the stage even though i was on the floor, it was still a nice gesture. Couldn't understand why people were S%$#faced and leaving early though. Keeping my fingers crossed for them to come back to Boston this summer.
