Crazy Game of Poker * Notes: Worst of the worst crowds I've ever seen in 26 shows. Apparently I didn't get the memo at the gate that this was a social drinking and talking event with O.A.R. providing background music, not a musical performance event. I'll know next time. There's a lot of crowd noise, unless it was the hook of the song or a song the crowd knew. A lot of ambient noise. A lot of people talking about how awesome "ore" is. I'm not sure who they are, but they might've been playing on another stage. The mix was also very, very bassy, and I tried my best to minimize the damage. There's distortion from the actual bass stack, which was audible to me in the crowd as well as on the tape. Overall a good show but the crowd really was inconsiderate towards everyone and everything. * - this song takes the cake as the worst few minutes if the entire evening. People were throwing shit at each other and the band, kicking mud over everyone, talking, screaming, making obnoxious noise... I got pushed around, mud thrown on me, and my buddy nearly got into a fistfight with an unruly, inconsiderate person. Compiled 5/3/04
