Reviews This show was sweet but marc kept telling people to stop surfin, so there wasnt't much engery there, i like how they played Any Time Now, i wasn't expecting that. and of course Black Rock was sweet cause they sang diffent in the end. but overall it was gnarly and a show. jerry was unbelievable on the sax -ontopthecage April 14, 2005
The show was amazing. I was 3 rows back next to the group of CU drunks who marc called out and told them to stop being dumbasses...It was annoying that people kept surfing after he told them to stop, kinda killed the mood.Everyone kinda seemed to get dropped right in front of us! State radio/lil Dispatch reunion was awesome. Overall O.A.R was unreal but the crowd was shitty! I was glad they played feelin' groovy but wished the woulda played Dareh Meyod!!Besides that one of the best shows ive seeN! Something was bugging Marc besides the crowd though? -Ziggy705 April 14, 2005
I thought the show was great from where I was at front row center. State radio was good, I freaked out when bradiggan came onstage to perform "open up" with Chad.
When O.A.R. came out the crowd was lame, there were guys left of center stage that kept causing a ruckus and marc had to specifically tell them to chill. I totally understand why marc is so hard on crowd surfers. I had to miss parts of the show because I was looking out for people surfing to the front kicking me in the head. I thought the setlist was pretty good... but didn't like the open up with 52-50. good song, but I wanted Dareh-meyod. Overall...great show, if only certain fans would not get loaded and act like children. -park2gnu April 14, 2005
i did not go to the show, but am commenting on marcs attitude. i was at a show last year in WI and he yelled at the audience like 4 times to stop surfing... he hates it! i understand where hes coming from, not wanting his fans to get kicked in the head, but even last year during the first song (Right on time) he yelled at a fan and totally killed the moment. i think he just needs to let crowd surfing happen because when he lets it bother him, he loses his edge. -kmoney April 14, 2005
The show was excellent! I would have wished for some different songs on the setlist, but you can't have everything. The crowd was cool. Marc told people crowd surfing that if "you don't know WTF your doing, stay on the ground." People that do it right and just cruise don't seem kick people as much. Not my favorite show ever, but I'm still mucho glad I was there. -ch3d April 14, 2005
Everyone is right, the crowd did suck. Once we moved to another area with good fans it was awesome! Although did you notice the sound problems? Started like 15min late and the whole time Marc/Richard were shaking thier heads at the sound guy trying to fine tune things, finally got things working near the end. Great show though! -abhollow April 18, 2005
