Reviews First off, who can argue with a completely free OAR show! My friend got us front row VIP passes and the only song he really wanted to hear was City On Down. It could not have been any more perfect that they opened with it. Overall, the show was pretty good. The crowd had a very good vibe and I think the band was surprised that so many people knew the words to both old and new songs. So Moved On and Night Shift were both very nice surprises. Hey Girl and Poker were both amazing with an awesome piano medly during Hey Girl. Shattered, surprisingly, sounded a little weak. Also, I do wish that they would have played less from SOAS and perhaps a few different, usually unheard selections from their new album. Nonetheless, I was completely surprised with the huge turn out and I had an amazing time which was all topped off with a fireworks display at the end of the night. Thanks for coming guys! -stevep898 July 19, 2008
This was my 3rd O.A.R. show, and like the other review stated you can't complain about a free show. Overall the setlist and the band energy was amazing, (well for me). The girls I brought had been to a few O.A.R. shows already and all they wanted to hear was poker, black rock, etc. They kept complaining that they were not playing songs they knew, even though they only played 3 new songs...whatever, I thought it was kickass.

There was 5 repeats from my last show, but hey, at least they were good ones! (Whose Chariot being one... awesome). I would say the worst part of the show was the ridiculously stupid crowd, especially during poker, these 3 retarded drunken chicks just decided to push their way up by us and start pushing and dancing. They smoked like 6 cigarettes in 2 min, the song was over, and they left...LOL.

Show highlights for me:
I could finally hear Jerry, and he ripped it. At Summer Camp the mix was not very good and I could not hear him.
That fact that I got to hear So Moved On AGAIN! KICKASS
52-50... YES. Finally I love that song.
Wonderful Day- hello badass.

Not a huge fan of This Town and was hoping they would play some other new songs like What Is Mine, and I was not a big fan of the encore, especially the Hey Girl, seemed sorta subpar with a 5 min piano solo in there.

Oh well, overall, it was a 9/10, because it was free, and good, and fireworks! -Sou1 So1di3r July 19, 2008
