Reviews Sick show, crowd was awesome you can tell they loved playing there this time around. They didn't play King though idk why thats on there.... The trumpet and trombone make Jerry's riffs much more powerful and they all sounded great together. Sick show once again, can't wait for Columbia and Governer's Island. -kchky108 July 11, 2011
Awesome show, worth the 3 and half hour drive from maryland. They didnt play king, it was King of The Thing. -JRoye July 11, 2011
this had to have been one of the sickest shows i've seen.. the band was on fire. the addition of the 2 new guys adds so much power.. i wish they played king but they didn't. once again another sick ass show from the band. can't wait for the next one -dinnerlastnight July 11, 2011
THIS SHOW WAS OFF THE HOOK!! I recorded the show and the quality came out solid. a HUGE HUGE thank you goes out to Chris Culos (the one and only drummer for O.A.R.) for responding to my tweet to him and the band...for passing the word on to the band's tour manager who passed the word on to security to allow me inside with my gear. Prior to that security would not let me in with my taping rig.
Also...thank you to the crowd around me for being VERY well behaved and being reasonably quiet as to not disturb my recording. Thank you to those who sat behind me for not bumping into my mic stand. I truly appreciate well behaved crowds when taping.
With that being said....this show ROCKED THE HOUSE! Solid set through and through! I still wish the band would play longer sets ...play past the 2hour mark. The plus is the encore breaks are only like a minute long. EXCELLENT JOB BY ALL. The jam sessions during the show by the new horn section was simply amazing! Wish I could attend another OAR show this summer. O.A.R. is like a fine wine - they keep getting better with time and age!! -dmbgreystreet05 July 11, 2011
amazing set list, high energy the whole way...loved the new percussions and the bongos...delicate few bongo solo was amazing and the encore was incredible. my 14th show and possibly best one yet. -amazinjay July 11, 2011
The guys always put on great shows at PNC in NJ and this Saturday's show was no exception. The set list included great new and old songs. The addition of the trumpet and trombone was great. Jay and Evan brought lots of talent and enthusiasm to the show. I thought the crowd in NJ was great. Finally, kudos to PNC for allowing tailgating and to the fans who (as far as I can tell) enjoyed the opportunity to tailgate in a respectful manner. Just a great night. Please come back! -tgh422 July 11, 2011
Writing this review a little late (lol about 7 months late) but I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the horns section. Been to 9 shows and this was one of the better setlists. I loved how they threw Poker in as the 13th song was a real nice suprise. About an Hour ago was sick and Black Rock was the guest percussionist was awesome. That 4 song encore ending with Hey Girl was great. Again, the horns section really worked and totally was a nice suprise as this opened the Summer Tour. Was my first time at PNC and I have heard they always really bring it when they play there and I will most definitely be back. Can't wait for Extended Stay Show at Bowery Ballroom this week. Keep on truckin boys... -krc616 March 4, 2012
