Reviews Well, this is how you start off a tour! It was an absolutely perfect Texas night to be outside and to enjoy a great O.A.R. show. I bumped into Jerry and Chris wandering in the crowd before the opener started. They were both very nice, as always. Cool to see them again. As for the show, Fool in the Rain was pretty unexpected, especially so early in the set. Nice to hear that one dusted off. I loved hearing Gotta Be Wrong Sometimes, Dangerous Connection (my favorite song on King by far), and The Last Time as I hadn't heard those 3 in concert before. That takes me up to 7 King songs total, so not bad for only seeing three 2011 shows. Marc's guitar was having sound issues during Shattered so he didn't play guitar for most of the song. And after getting my hands on the set list, I was VERY disappointed that they scrapped Get Away for City On Down--> Delicate Few, however, I have no real complaints. Great crowd....the band sounded terrific ...everyone left the show happy. So, it was pretty successful in my book. I do kinda miss the bulked up horn section from this summer, but how can you be too sad when Jerry is just killing it on the sax. I wish they would play Texas more frequently. I miss seeing these guys! Fun night. -sweartoyoutrue October 14, 2011
