Reviews I have been to four shows before this one and they were all in the D.C. area where O.A.R. is from. I was actually impressed with the amount of energy in the place. O.A.R. was great as usual and the crowd really responded. I was sitting right behind the sound board so I got to see the setlist before the show even started which only included 18 songs. O.A.R. was having such a good time though that they added What is Mine and Missing Pieces. The set was a great mix of new and old, and I absolutely loved living in the end and night shift at the beginning. It was great seeing the floor crowd from the back and seeing everyone go crazy for Poker at the end. Can't wait to see them again on Friday in Cary. -catdog8303 September 25, 2008
I was up in the seats and i have to say, i feel like this was a wasted set. No energy in the pit, and i was one of four standing and dancing the whole show in my section.
Other than that AMAZING show. I could not have made a better set list myself -Matlax September 25, 2008
I agree with Matlax. The band put on an awesome show with a great mix in the setlist and to me it just seemed like the crowd was dead. No one was dancing on the floor and I actually left my seats to go to an empty area so I could stand up and dance without disturbing everyone that was sitting down around me. Setlist and show get a 8.5, crowd gets a 4. -Chris Swanson September 26, 2008
Ok first off the crowd was awesome I was front row on the rail and in four shows thats the best crowd ive heard lyric wise and energy wise, so if you're watching from the stands.... Anyway that was also the best setlist ive seen! -NCHart08 September 27, 2008
This show was a bit special for me because my first show was right next door at Ovens. I finally got On Top the Cage which is totally awesome. I'm also digging the new songs. I wasn't sure about All Sides at first, but after hearing some of the songs live I am fast becoming a big fan of the new album. Still it was good hearing some of the older stuff! -mottaboo September 30, 2008
OK Show, I took a friend of mine on her birthday to her first O.A.R. show; hopefully she is now hooked and can hit "I love my hunny bunny!" next show. Crowd down on the floor was a little young and not over rowdy. Overall Cricket looked and feeled empty, I know they are trying to go mainstream but I would have liked @ Visulite, Amos's, or Neighboorhood much better. Delicate Few was STRONG! -plarsen September 30, 2008
First Concert!!!!
Short A Try was very exciting to hear. A great mix of old and new. -Ladanay04 November 13, 2008
