Reviews This show and set was downright KICKASS!!! REDONKULOUS setlist! OAR brought their A-game. I had a phenomenal taping experience!! All the people around me were really cool and nice! There was a family of 4 next to me. The daughter (who had to be like 6 years old at most) was really fascinated with my gear and was asking me questions about it. Thought that was really cool! Last night was apparently her 4th OAR concert. Awesome parents for starting their kids young with getting into OAR - nothing but great music.
Onto the set -
nothing but greatness! They played a boat load of old school songs and literally kept all the new stuff to the end of the show. SPAC really got a treat last night. Probably their best SPAC setlist yet. It was truly phenomenal to get the organ intro on CITY ON DOWN - that intro MAKES the song bar none!! Thanks Mikel Paris!!
Always cool to see and hear Jon Lampley play the sousaphone on SOMETHING COMING OVER. Last night was the first time I ever heard DELICATE FEW as an opener and I've been an OAR fan for almost 10 years. It was cool to hear it as an opener slot.
Onto the ENCORE -
what a roof busting encore that was!! They totally ROCKED the house! UNDER PRESSURE was really cool to hear and then to follow that up with LIVE AND LET DIE was just down right REDONKULOUS. I def got fired up and head banged during LIVE AND LET DIE. Song really gets me fired up. Great job by all! My next show will be PNC August 3rd - I will be taping as well. Great meeting the people around me. Best OAR @ SPAC experience yet! Let's keep that feeling going! :-)

on a side note: SO COOL hearing the TOP GUN anthem play as the house music to introduce Andrew McMahon! Booming awesome! Totally gets one fired up! It was also cool to hear BLURRED LINES as the house music while waiting for OAR to come on. WHAT A FABULOUS NIGHT! 5 stars all the way! 10/10 :-)

Mikel Paris tweeted me today; he indicated that the organ intro on 'City On Down' was a last minute addition. SPAC truly got a treat last night! WHAT A GREAT BAND!!!

UPDATE 2013.07.31: The archive.org link will be posted at a later date. For now - ENJOY! -dmbgreystreet05 July 29, 2013
This was my 21st show, 16th show being front and center. I honestly can't remember seeing a setlist that I enjoyed more. Finally heard Tragedy In Waiting, Someone in the Road, and James. Peace is everything I knew it would be, so amazing. Love the new intro to Lay Down, awesome Hey Girl intro as well. I could go on and on, everything was so spot on.
They definitely came out ready to go. Marc hit the mic. on Delicate Few immediately and didn't stop going hard from there. Unbelievable set, for sure the best I've seen them do at SPAC. -oarfan16 July 31, 2013
These guys NEVER disappoint. What a show! First time to SPAC and absolutely loved the venue. Jon and Evan bring such energy and are truly an asset to this band. I wish they would have played "Caroline The Wrecking Ball" (it was on the original setlist)- but "James" was awesome to hear live. The highlight of this show was the dueling horns on "Anyway".

Totally worth the trip up from Florida. -ClearwaterOARFan August 2, 2013
