Reviews Andy Grammer was a decent opener, looks like he made the crowd happy and ready for the next act. Nice little opening to One Shot, cool way to start. Wonderful day worked well in the second spot, followed by a solid straight up Black Rock where things can never go wrong. The Rockville songs are all solid, but Place to Hide is where its at, this song was played very well, love the arrangement, such a moving song with a lot of power, one of my new favorites. Mr. Brown always makes me happy and is fun, even with a standard version. Untitled was full of energy and quite nice to hear mid set, love that song. Then, out of no where and for the first time in over 7 years, they bust out Sail Away, and it was awesome! This song goes way back, and for me was among the first batch of songs I got into. I think I burned it onto disc from my college days with Napster, which surprisingly I was listening to on the drive to this show. This made the show for me, love bust outs, and this was fantastic. Although it seemed hardly anyone knew what was going on, I certainly did and enjoyed it thoroughly. Glad 52-50 was played, such an involved song with a lot to it, Ive been seeking this one live for awhile now too. Caroline is a well written song and nice to hear. Cant go wrong with the city/delicate closer. Strong way to close the set. I love Peace. Such a great acoustic song, I could listen to it everyday. Made me glad my wife was with me for this show. Patiently was a treat to hear, didn't see that one coming. Then the poker closer, seemed abbreviated and rushed a bit, but not bad. The grammer dude came out for this one and added some lyrical value and plugged one of his songs more, and no woman was just like a verse or so, not a complete rendition. nice encore run of songs though. Overall, I thought the bands energy seemed to grow with each song, which always makes for a great show. maybe one more older tune, a chariot, destination or hour ago and this would have been splendid even more so. Or Dakota, that's a good one. The calvins sound is not that good though, hope this one comes out for download, would love to hear it sound better. -PhatB November 28, 2014
